Born in Mersin, he completed his primary and secondary education in Mersin. After having graduated from Selcuk University, Mechanical Engineering Department, he started his professional life in Konya and worked as a senior manager in various companies for 14 years. Managing investments, production sites and international business relationships of these companies over the years, he made a name for himself in the field of processing fine-grained steel in Turkey and abroad. Due to development-, design- and manufacturing projects involving ballistic steel, he is also well known and connected within the Turkish military defense sector.

Born in Cologne, he completed his secondary education in Karlsruhe. Trained as a banker, but working most of his life in sales & marketing positions, Valentin Vey lives since 1996 in Turkey. His experience in various sectors ranges from active sales to being managing director; from business-to-business to fmcg; stations being England, Scotland, Germany and Turkey. His strengths are in sales & marketing and business development; international suppliers and customers appreciate him for his profound local knowledge, solid contacts and reliability. In addition to his native German, he has a very good command of English and Turkish.
